Perfumes

For our perfume brands, we imagined a unique fragrance for each of the Bennet sisters. Although we frequently revisit Austen’s work and its many adaptations, it’s the 1995 BBC Bennets who appear most vividly in our minds. That particular production shaped much of the thinking behind these scents.

Angelique
Jane’s perfume is imagined as light, floral, and crystal clear—like sunlight through cut glass. The bottle could easily have been designed by Lalique, the French master of perfume flacons. We’re particularly proud of the tagline "Heaven’s Scent," which perfectly captures how Bingley sees Jane. The brand behind this fragrance is Enfleurage, named for the traditional process of extracting scent from fresh flowers. Enfleurage is also the imagined creator of Rosa Nera and Pecora Bianca.

Arts and Allurements
This is the perfume we imagine Lady Catherine de Bourgh gifting Lizzy during her first visit to Pemberley after marrying Darcy. The brand name, Elsheva, is derived from Elisheva, the Hebrew form of Elizabeth and the root of the name. Elegant and elevated, this scent is Lizzy, reimagined as mistress of the house.

Rosa Nera
Lydia’s scent is loud, lush, and leaves a trail. Inspired by Dior’s Poison, Rosa Nera—Italian for Black Rose—arrives before its wearer does. It’s unapologetically bold, overconfident, and intoxicating. Too much, and it turns sour. Just enough, and it dazzles. This is a perfume with stories to tell.

Pecora Bianca
Kitty’s fragrance is elusive, understated, and surprisingly present. We nearly named it "Always," because Kitty is always there, even when overlooked. Pecora Bianca, or White Sheep, is the opposite of Rosa Nera—soft, subtle, and hard to pin down. It lingers gently and is rarely the first thing noticed, but never entirely forgotten.

Sacrament
Would Mary have been a goth or an Anglican nun? We see her as both. Sacrament reflects this duality with a scent that feels both pious and provocative. Inspired by the visuals the .ai produced, we expanded Sacrament into a full fashion brand. The perfume itself is a muted patchouli—damp, grounded, and oddly compelling. It hovers at the back of the throat and demands your attention.
